The Hearts
behind Kokoro
Two friends who believe the best celebrations aren't the biggest ones, they're the ones made with intention.
Kokoro (心) is a Japanese word with no exact translation. It speaks to the connection between heart, mind, spirit, and intention. We chose it because it describes how we wanted to work: with soul, with care, and with intention in every detail.
It started between two friends, long before it had a name.
Lucrecia has always been drawn to hospitality, experiences and the little details that make people feel cared for. After years working in concierge and event planning in Manuel Antonio, she knew she wanted to create something of her own.
Limari brings a different kind of heart to Kokoro. She has always found joy in taking care of people, making them feel welcomed, comfortable and at home. Kokoro is also a new chapter for her — her first step into entrepreneurship, and something we're building together with a lot of love and intention.
Over time, we realized those two passions weren't so different after all.
So we built Kokoro around one simple idea: everything we create should come from the heart.
Life has taught us how precious the moments we share with the people we love really are. And that is part of why Kokoro means so much to us.
We want to create moments where people can slow down, be together, and simply enjoy being there.
Let's create something meaningful together.
Whether it's an elopement, a proposal, a picnic, or simply a reason to celebrate...we'd love to be part of it.
